Nursing

The Nursing Department was established at Al-Farabi University College in the year 2017-2018. The Nursing Department aims to provide the society with university graduates who are capable of performing the nursing tasks required in treating and caring for patients and under the supervision of the doctors in the hospital halls. The work of graduates of nursing includes: Nursing diagnosis of the diseased condition and follow-up of the treatment plan as well as follow-up of the patient’s health status during his stay in the hospital and giving him health instructions for his sick condition when the patient is discharged. The department seeks to raise the scientific level by updating and developing academic and scientific curricula in response to the requirements of accreditation and quality assurance. This is achieved through a solid educational program, and qualified teaching staff, providing graduates who are capable of taking responsibility and making the right medical decisions. Our department goals are in response to Al-Farabi vision, mission and values.
