Civil Engineering

The Civil Engineering Departments at Al-Farabi University College is a prominent sign and a beacon in the world of science, knowledge and engineering. It is considered a title of excellence and creativity and an inexhaustible tributary of giving in the service of society and creating with its wonderful manners and permanent distinction a pattern of perfection in scientific and professional services. As the department is one of the first scientific departments in the college, five cohorts have graduated from it so far to extend the career and the market with a number of distinguished graduates in a high level of professional performance. Throughout its course, the civil engineering department has been keen to keep pace with scientific development by developing its laboratories and enriching the library to make these capabilities in the hands of its students. Advanced and modern methods have also been introduced in teaching its curricula from various scientific means to match its counterpart in the University of Baghdad according to the twinning mechanism.
