Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Farabi College, Professor Dr. Ahmed Gailan, and within the activities of the chess tournament, which is organized by the Student Activities Unit in the college.
The Dean congratulated the students participating in the tournament after they got the first and second places, and the Dean stressed that the college is keen throughout the academic year to hold student events and honor the winners because of its moral aspect in increasing the motivation for competition among students as well as increasing the level of performance and achievement scholastic.
It is noteworthy that the team of the Department of Pharmacy for boys and girls won the first place, while the team of the Department of Dentistry for boys won the second place, and the team of the Department of optics techniques for girls won the second place.
