Prof. Dr. Osama Abdul Majid Al-Ani, Professor of Islamic Banking at Al-Farabi University / Department of Accounting and Banking Sciences, delivered lectures to train a number of employees from Islamic banks in Iraq. This was in response to an invitation from the Banking Studies Center at the Central Bank of Iraq, which organized a course titled “Islamic Financial Products” from March 17 to 20, 2025. This initiative contributes to Al-Farabi University’s sustainability efforts through the SDG 17 indicator – Partnerships for the Goals of Sustainable Development.
