Al-Farabi University Hosts the Artificial Intelligence Conference in Iraq to Promote Technological Innovation

As part of efforts to enhance the role of technology and artificial intelligence in various academic and industrial fields, Al-Farabi University hosted the launch ceremony of the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Clubs, under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Engineer Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, and with the supervision of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Scientific, Academic, and Artificial Intelligence Affairs.

The conference was attended by a distinguished group of academics and specialists in artificial intelligence, as well as representatives from governmental and private institutions interested in advancing modern technology. Participants discussed the importance of artificial intelligence in improving institutional performance, supporting innovation, and achieving sustainable development in Iraq.

The event also featured a series of workshops and specialized lectures that showcased the latest advancements in robotics and machine learning. Additionally, students and researchers from Iraqi universities presented practical models of their research projects.

Organizers emphasized that launching the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Clubs represents a significant step toward building a comprehensive educational environment based on advanced technology.
