Annual Strategy & Implementation
The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division plays a vital role in improving educational outcomes. It focuses on enhancing students’ personal and social skills and supporting them in overcoming obstacles.
This human-centered mission aims to address any challenges that hinder student development and to instill a sense of satisfaction and balance. In recognition of its significance, the University Administration has elevated the unit to a full division.

Formation of Guidance Committees
The committees are composed of faculty members and advisors. Their responsibilities include:
Assigning each academic advisor to groups of 5–10 students.
Linking advisors with the academic tracking system (e.g., deferrals, warnings).
Scheduling office hours for student communication.
Organizing orientation for new students.
Holding individual and group sessions.
Hosting an annual “Guidance Week” featuring workshops and seminars.
Execution Plan for 2024–2025
1. First-Year Student Services
Welcome and orientation about the college, its mission, and academic system.
Explain rules on dress code, attendance, and graduation requirements.
Discuss expected behavior and academic integrity.
Clarify student-faculty and peer relationships.
2. Additional Key Functions
Introduce all counseling services offered by the college.
Distribute awareness posters and bulletins.
Identify and nurture student talents (academic, athletic, artistic).
Discuss serious topics: drugs, extremism, online behavior, campus ethics.
3. Other Academic Stage Services
Organize advisory hours per academic stage.
Focus on regulations, attendance policies, and student discipline.
4. Final-Year Student Services
Prepare students for the labor market and postgraduate studies.
Offer talks on career-required skills and department-specific paths.
Encourage community-driven graduation research.
Additional Activities
Conduct anonymous student surveys at the start of each semester.
Track and support underperforming or absent students.
Monitor negative campus behaviors.
Host guest experts in psychology and education.
Coordinate awareness programs, training sessions, and regular lectures.
