As part of its mission to empower students technologically, the Technical Engineering College (Departments of Medical Device Techniques and Electrical Engineering Techniques) at Al-Farabi University organized an intensive workshop titled “Arduino: From Learning to the Labor Market”. The workshop spanned two days (May 4–5, 2026) with broad participation from various engineering disciplines.
Workshop Highlights and Training: The workshop featured a comprehensive training curriculum, including:
- Simulation & Implementation: Starting with the fundamentals of Arduino via simulation software, leading to the practical execution of real-world projects.
- Artificial Intelligence: Exploring how to integrate AI technologies into microcontroller programming to enhance the efficiency of engineering systems.
- Professional Qualification: Focusing on linking acquired skills with actual labor market demands in automation and smart systems.
Official Visit: The workshop was visited by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Muayyad Al-Jubouri, and the Dean of the College, Dr. Mazin Abed Mohammed. They reviewed the training progress and student interaction, emphasizing the university’s continuous support for activities that sharpen the skills of young innovators.
