As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance professional awareness, the Al-Farabi Cybersecurity Club held an awareness seminar on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, titled: “The Importance of Freelancing with the Private Sector and the Labor Market” at Babylon Hall, Al-Farabi University.
Seminar Pillars: The seminar addressed strategic topics aimed at bridging the gap between academia and the professional world, most notably:
- Skill Development: Emphasizing the importance of honing personal and professional skills to meet modern market requirements.
- Freelancing Opportunities: Highlighting the vast horizons provided by independent work within the cybersecurity field.
- Financial Independence: Guidance on building an independent career path to achieve professional and financial stability.
- Innovation and Initiative: Encouraging students to embrace an entrepreneurial spirit and leverage opportunities in the private sector.
Attendance and Interaction: The seminar was attended by Department Heads, Coordinators, and faculty members from the Science, Engineering, and Cybersecurity Techniques Engineering departments, along with a large number of interested students. The event provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and addressing inquiries with specialized experts.
