Al-Farabi University’s Women’s Affairs Division Organizes a Seminar on Enhancing Women’s Role in E-Governance

The Women’s Affairs Division at Al-Farabi University organized a scientific seminar titled “Empowering Women’s Capabilities in E-Governance and Understanding the Civil Service Law”, in collaboration with the College of Engineering – Department of Computer Engineering.

The seminar brought together faculty members and students and covered several key themes, including the role of women in modern administration, their involvement in electronic governance systems, and an introduction to the Civil Service Law and its application within governmental institutions.

The lecture was delivered by Ms. Yusra Abdul-Razzaq, who emphasized the importance of spreading awareness about e-governance and keeping pace with the rapid technological developments in the public sector. She highlighted that empowering women both legally and intellectually is essential to building strong and effective institutions.

The event also featured open discussions with students and academic staff, aiming to enhance legal and administrative awareness and encourage women to take an active part in digital governance and institutional development.
