Under the auspices of Al-Farabi University’s Presidency, and to promote environmental awareness within the academic community, the Women’s Affairs Division, in collaboration with the College of Arts, organized a field awareness campaign titled: “Conservation and Sustainability of Water and Energy and Environmental Protection.”
Campaign Details: The campaign was launched on Saturday, February 21, 2026, featuring the placement of artistic and educational posters throughout the university’s main corridors. The initiative was supervised by the College of Arts faculty members:
- Asst. Lect. Shola Alaaddin.
- Asst. Lect. Rusul Ghassan Awad.
- Asst. Lect. Sanaa Mahmoud Ibrahim.
Key Objectives: The campaign utilized engaging visual designs to simplify environmental concepts, focusing on:
- Resource Conservation: Guiding students toward the optimal use of water and energy both on and off-campus.
- Sustainability Culture: Promoting environmental preservation concepts to ensure a sustainable future for coming generations.
- Social Responsibility: Encouraging students to adopt positive behaviors that reduce waste and protect the ecosystem.
The campaign received significant engagement from students, reflecting the leading role of the College of Arts in using visual communication to serve vital social and environmental causes.
