Under the auspices of Al-Farabi University’s presidency, and as part of the university’s commitment to addressing core social issues, the Women’s Affairs Division, in collaboration with the English Language Department at the College of Education, organized an awareness seminar titled: “Raising Awareness on the Importance of Women’s Roles.”
Seminar Details: The seminar took place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, and was presented by Asst. Lect. Tabarak Hassan. The session explored the pioneering roles of women in academic and social fields and their capacity to drive positive change within educational environments.
Key Recommendations: The seminar concluded with several strategic recommendations, most notably:
- Supporting Leadership Empowerment: Enhancing women’s presence in decision-making positions within academic and educational institutions.
- Continuous Education: Intensifying periodic workshops to raise legal and social awareness regarding women’s rights.
