In line with the executive plan of the National Strategy for Iraqi Women (2026), Al-Farabi University hosted the “Empowerment and Creativity” Bazaar. This exceptional event served as a vibrant intersection of art, management, and economic empowerment.
Supervision & Organization: The event was organized under the supervision of:
- Ms. Tahani Karim Mahdi (Head of the Women’s Affairs Division).
- Dr. Majda Abdul Majeed (Head of the Risk and Insurance Department – College of Administration and Economics).
Professional Youth Leadership: The professional caliber of the College of Administration and Economics graduates was on full display. Alumni from the Accounting and Banking Sciences Department played a pivotal role in managing the bazaar’s organizational and financial aspects, translating academic excellence into field expertise.
Activity Objectives:
- Supporting Start-ups: Providing a platform for female students and graduates to showcase and market their handmade crafts and products.
- Academic Application: Integrating “Accounting” and “Risk Management” skills into the organization of public events.
- National Empowerment: Actively contributing to the Iraqi State Vision 2026 by enhancing women’s roles in society and the labor market.
The bazaar was attended by university students, faculty, and staff, reflecting Al-Farabi University’s commitment to being a cornerstone of positive transformation and a continuous supporter of its creative graduates.
