Within the activities of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week – Global Entrepreneurship Week”, and under the slogan (From the Land of the Two Rivers, Ideas Begin), the Department of Optics Techniques at Al-Farabi University organized a comprehensive workshop titled: “Integrated Eye Examinations.”
Workshop Schedule:
- Day 1 (Jan 31): Dedicated to external participants.
- Day 2 (Feb 7): Dedicated to Al-Farabi students and graduates.
Training Content: The program covered advanced clinical procedures including Visual Acuity, Autorefractometer, Retinoscopy, Strabismus checks, IOP, OCT, A & B Scan, and Slit Lamp Examination.

- Prof. Dr. Furqan Majid.
- Dr. Zeina Abdullah.
- Ms. Banan Badri & Ms. Sarah Falah.
The workshop aimed to enhance practical skills and link academic knowledge with the labor market’s clinical requirements.
