Within the activities of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week – Global Entrepreneurship Week 2026”, and under the slogan (From the Land of the Two Rivers, Ideas Begin), the Department of Optometry Techniques at the College of Medical and Health Techniques / Al-Farabi University organized a developmental workshop titled: “The Artificial Eye… A Gateway to Entrepreneurship.”
Workshop Details: Held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Ocular Prosthetics Lab (Building F).
Supervision: The workshop was supervised by:
- Asst. Lect. Tabarak Ammar Sabah.
- Demonstrator Rounaq Hashem Abd.
- Demonstrator Sanaa Nader Adnan.
Objectives: Targeting 4th-year students, the workshop explained the manufacturing stages of artificial eyes and highlighted the potential of turning this niche specialty into entrepreneurial projects that serve patients and the local health sector.
