Within the activities of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week – Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025”, and under the slogan (From the Land of the Two Rivers, Ideas Begin), the Department of Optics Techniques at Al-Farabi University organized a practical workshop titled: “Employing Artificial Intelligence in Vision Testing Techniques – VisuReal Move AI Device.”
Workshop Details: Held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in the Refractive Errors Lab (Building F), the event was organized in collaboration with Al-Daqiqa Company, representing HOYA in Iraq.
Supervision: The workshop was supervised by Prof. Dr. Mahdi Hassan (Head of Department), Prof. Dr. Furqan Majid, Dr. Zeina Abdullah, and lecturers Banan Badri, Noura Shaker, and Sarah Falah.
Objectives: The session aimed to highlight the role of AI in improving optical measurement accuracy and lens design, bridging the gap between academic theory and practical application.
