Within the activities of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week – Global Entrepreneurship Week”, and under the slogan (From the Land of the Two Rivers, Ideas Begin), the Accounting and Banking Sciences Department at Al-Farabi University, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Department, organized an awareness workshop titled: “Developing Soft Skills for Women: A Pillar of Prevention for the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda.”
Session Details: Held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, the session was moderated by Prof. Dr. Hanaa Abdel Ghaffar and presented by Dr. Nibras Al-Mamouri (Senior Political Consultant at the Iraqi Parliament / Head of Iraqi Women Journalists Forum).
Objectives: The workshop aimed to empower female students with soft skills, negotiation techniques, and strategic planning, highlighting the role of women in peacebuilding as a prerequisite for a thriving business environment.
