Within the activities of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week – Global Entrepreneurship Week”, and under the slogan (From the Land of the Two Rivers, Ideas Begin), the College of Law at Al-Farabi University organized a scientific seminar titled: “Filing a Lawsuit and the Right to Waiver: A Comparison Between Sharia and Law.”
Seminar Details: Held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Basra Hall, the seminar featured the following speakers:
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Iman Jassim Mohammed (Associate Dean).
- Lecturer Dr. Azhar Muslih Hamad.
- Lecturer Dr. Farhan Matar Saloum.
- Asst. Lect. Ahmed Makki Ibrahim.
The session focused on the legal and Sharia perspectives regarding lawsuit procedures and waiver rights, emphasizing practical applications.
