Under the Slogan “From the Land of the Two Rivers, Ideas Begin”: College of Law Discusses “The Study of Law between Theory and Practice”

Within the activities of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week – Global Entrepreneurship Week”, and under the slogan (From the Land of the Two Rivers, Ideas Begin), the College of Law at Al-Farabi University organized a scientific seminar titled: “The Study of Law between Theory and Practice.”

Seminar Details: Held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Basra Hall, the seminar featured distinguished speakers:

1. Asst. Prof. Dr. Osama Rashid Majid (Dean of the College).
2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Iman Jassim Mohammed (Associate Dean).
3. Judge Alaa El-Din Mohammed Khidr Al-Marsoumi.
4. Asst. Lect. Ahmed Makki Ibrahim.

The session focused on bridging the gap between theoretical legal studies and practical application in the field.
