Within the activities of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week – Global Entrepreneurship Week”, and under the slogan (From the Land of the Two Rivers, Ideas Begin), the Risk Management and Insurance Department at Al-Farabi University organized a specialized training course titled: “Crafting Safety: How to Turn Risk Management and Insurance Specialization into a Successful Entrepreneurial Project.”
Course Details: Held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Al-Razi Hall, the session was presented by Dr. Haider Al-Ketbi (Assistant Manager at the Ministry of Finance / Iraqi General Insurance Company).
Objectives: The course explored the applied dimensions of risk management, aiming to empower students to convert their academic knowledge into sustainable entrepreneurial ventures that support the national economy.
