Under the Slogan “From the Land of the Two Rivers, Ideas Begin”: College of Administration and Economics Discusses Shifting from “Job Waiting” to “Opportunity Creation”

Within the activities of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week – Global Entrepreneurship Week”, and under the slogan (From the Land of the Two Rivers, Ideas Begin), the Business Administration Department at Al-Farabi University organized a developmental workshop titled: “Initiative, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship in the Private Sector: From the Culture of Waiting for a Job to Creating Opportunities.”

Session Details: Held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Al-Razi Hall, the session was moderated by Prof. Dr. Hanaa Abdel Ghaffar, with participation from:

1. Ms. Noor Basim Al-Taie (Marketing Consultant / Member of Iraqi Businesswomen).
2. Ms. Shireen Al-Jaf (PR Manager at the Swedish Center).

The workshop aimed to promote a culture of initiative and encourage students to embrace entrepreneurship as a strategic career path.
