Celebrating the spirit of innovation within “Entrepreneurship Week,” Al-Farabi University hosted an exhibition for oil refining and petrochemical projects, organized by the Department of Oil and Gas Refining Engineering.
Opening Ceremony: The exhibition was inaugurated by the University President, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Al-Jubouri, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering. Dr. Al-Jubouri toured the event, praising the advanced scientific level of the students’ projects and their potential application in supporting the national oil industry.
Support for Innovation: Dr. Muayad Al-Jubouri, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, also visited the exhibition to discuss the technical aspects of the projects with the students. He emphasized the importance of conducting “economic feasibility studies” for these initiatives and confirmed the university’s readiness to adopt exceptional projects and seek necessary funding to turn them into reality.
This event embodies the university’s vision to foster a culture of entrepreneurship and bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application in the energy sector.
