In an effort to enhance practical skills and connect theoretical concepts with field applications, the Department of Electrical Engineering Techniques at the Engineering Technical College / Al-Farabi University organized a scientific field trip for first-year students to the engineering workshop of Al-Haitham General Contracting Company.
Visit Highlights: The visit included a guided tour of the workshop, supervised by the resident engineer. Students were introduced to:
- The nature of engineering workflows and project execution.
- Electrical tools and equipment used in construction and maintenance.
Meeting with Leadership: The students also met with the company’s Executive Director, Electrical Engineer Taha Mustafa Munim, who reviewed the company’s expertise and emphasized the importance of field training in developing students’ skills and preparing them for the labor market.
