In an effort to enhance environmental awareness and create a sustainable academic environment, the Department of Design and the Department of Fashion at the College of Arts organized an afforestation campaign within the university campus.
Campaign Highlights: In response to the recommendations of the Ministerial Standing Committee for Agriculture and Environment, faculty members and students participated in planting (15) different types of seedlings.
Objectives: This initiative aims to increase green spaces, improve the campus climate, and add an aesthetic touch to the university grounds. It reflects Al-Farabi University’s commitment to sustainability and its role in supporting national efforts to protect the environment.
