Under the patronage of the President of Al-Farabi University and the direct supervision of the Head of the Optics Techniques Department, Dr. Mahdi Hassan, the department organized a field medical campaign on Monday, December 15, 2025, visiting Biladi Private Elementary School.
The campaign included conducting primary vision screenings for students to ensure early detection of vision problems and refractive errors. This initiative is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to support community service and school health, as well as to raise awareness about the importance of routine eye examinations for maintaining visual health.
The campaign was conducted under the supervision of a specialized academic team, including:

- Ms. Sarah Falah.
