In response to an official invitation, Al-Farabi University participated prominently in the “Entrepreneurship Week” organized by the College of Education at Al-Mustansiriya University on Monday, December 8, 2025. Al-Farabi University hosted the largest pavilion at the event, showcasing distinguished student projects from the Department of Cybersecurity and the Department of Interior Design, under the supervision of faculty members.
The pavilion attracted significant attention, notably receiving a visit from Prof. Dr. Safaa Taqi, President of Al-Mustansiriya University, along with the Dean of the College of Education and various experts in digital security.
During the event, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Habib Kashmar, Head of the Cybersecurity Department, highlighted the major developments at Al-Farabi University regarding infrastructure. He emphasized the availability of an ideal educational environment, featuring advanced laboratories and model classrooms. Dr. Kashmar noted that these facilities, combined with a specialized faculty, have empowered students to create practical projects focused on data privacy, web security, and building effective defense systems against cyber piracy.
At the conclusion of the event, the President of Al-Mustansiriya University expressed his gratitude to Al-Farabi University for its active and impactful participation, voicing his desire to establish future academic cooperation and twinning agreements across various scientific and humanitarian fields.
