The College of Nursing at Al-Farabi University organized a scientific health initiative titled “Early Detection of Diabetes Mellitus among Al-Farabi University Students,” under the supervision of Dr. Zaid Jaber Hamad and Dr. Muhammad Hamza Mahdi.
The activity included conducting necessary medical screenings for early detection of diabetes, alongside providing health counseling and guidance. The campaign focused on raising awareness about prevention methods, the importance of regular check-ups, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Fourth-year students specializing in Community Health Nursing played a pivotal role in the success of this event. This initiative reflects the College’s commitment to enhancing health awareness and fostering a culture of well-being within the university community.
