Al-Farabi University Concludes the Second Programming Axis of the “TechBridge” Program (Week 6) with an Advanced Applied Lecture

The College of Engineering – Computer Engineering Department at Al-Farabi University concluded the programming fundamentals activities within the “TechBridge” program (Week 6) with a specialized applied lecture presented by Mr. Muntajib Al-Din Ahmed (Lead Software Developer), titled:

“Beginner Project: .NET API Backend, SQLite Database, and Angular Frontend”

The session commenced in “Babylon Hall” on December 1, 2025, witnessing remarkable attendance and engagement from the department’s students. The workshop focused on building an integrated project combining .NET API technologies for backend services, SQLite databases, and developing a frontend using Angular.

During the workshop, students implemented a series of practical steps, which included:

  • Creating APIs (CRUD) for efficient data management.
  • Connecting the project to an SQLite database using Entity Framework Core.
  • Developing an Angular-based frontend to display and add content seamlessly.
  • Documenting the project and uploading the code to GitHub.

This activity is part of the Computer Engineering Department’s ongoing efforts to enhance students’ practical skills, empowering them to build integrated (Full-Stack) projects that meet job market requirements using the latest software development technologies.
