The Assistant President of Al-Farabi University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mazin Al-Hakeem, participated as a keynote speaker in the specialized workshop titled “Employing Technology and Artificial Intelligence to Support the Green Economy.”
This distinguished participation took place within the activities of the 3rd Arab-Chinese Youth Forum, held in Baghdad in cooperation with the League of Arab States from November 20-24, 2025, under the slogan: (Arab Youth Economic Cooperation… Entrepreneurship and Innovation).
During the workshop, Dr. Al-Hakim discussed methods to invest in modern technologies to address environmental and climate issues, emphasizing the pivotal role of youth in achieving green sustainability, while highlighting the importance of leveraging the Chinese experience in this field.
The forum was attended by high-level dignitaries, including:
- Dr. Ahmed Saad Aliwi (Director General of the Department of Regions and Governorates Affairs).
- Dr. Akram Naeem (Director General of the Department of Studies).
- Mr. Shao Dong (Head of the Chinese Delegation).
- A group of Iraqi, Arab, and Chinese youth, along with representatives of UNICEF-Iraq.
