The TechBridge program at Al-Farabi University kicked off its second track, “Programming and Software Engineering,” with the events of its fourth week held on November 3, 2025. This week focused on one of the most in-demand paths in today’s tech sector: “Introduction to Mobile App Development.”
The key lecture was titled: “JavaScript Everywhere: Designing and Building Scalable Systems with Node.js” presented by Mr. Murtadha Mohammed, Senior Developer and Manager of PureTik.
Mr. Murtadha highlighted the pivotal role of JavaScript in building modern systems, explaining how it has evolved into a comprehensive tool for creating integrated mobile and web applications within a unified environment. He also covered the technical foundations for designing Scalable Systems and the importance of Node.js in building high-performance solutions relied upon by major global companies.
This week marked a significant turning point in the program, as students moved towards direct application and understanding the backend infrastructure of smart applications. This transition significantly boosts their readiness to build real-world technical projects that meet professional market standards.
