The TechBridge program continued its activities for the second consecutive week within the “Computer Basics” track. This week focused on a pivotal topic in modern education: “AI Basics and STEAM Education.”
The Computer Engineering Department hosted Eng. Israa Issa Kamel, Robotics and STEAM Education Specialist at Al-Nabaa. She delivered an interactive lecture that covered several key areas:
- Fostering Innovation: The role of Artificial Intelligence in building innovative thinking skills among students.
- STEAM Methodology: The importance of integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to enhance practical capabilities.
- Practical Application: How to utilize robotics and smart systems within the educational environment.
- Future Careers: Essential concepts for understanding AI as a central pillar in the future global job market.
This week’s sessions emphasized the growing role of experiential learning and modern technologies. This aligns perfectly with Al-Farabi University’s vision to prepare students equipped with advanced skills, capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in technical sectors.
