The Department of Cybersecurity at the College of Science organized an awareness activity titled “Drug Addiction and Prevention” on Tuesday, November 3, 2025, aiming to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and its negative effects on individuals and society, while highlighting methods of prevention.
The event included educational booths and awareness presentations, along with notable student contributions addressing the health, psychological, and social aspects of drug addiction and emphasizing the importance of community solidarity in combating its spread.
The initiative also aimed to promote positive values among students and to strengthen the concept of personal responsibility in protecting oneself and society from this serious issue.
The activity witnessed wide participation and interaction from faculty members and students, contributing to the successful achievement of its awareness goals.
