The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research honored Al-Farabi University as one of the top Iraqi universities in student volunteer work, during the University Volunteer Work Conference.
This recognition comes in appreciation of the university’s efforts in promoting the values of cooperation, generosity, and social responsibility, through various volunteer initiatives carried out by its students and staff. These initiatives included humanitarian, health, environmental, and community service activities both on and off campus.
The Minister praised Al-Farabi University as a distinguished model in encouraging volunteerism and empowering youth to serve their communities, highlighting its role in strengthening national belonging and social responsibility among students.
Al-Farabi University expressed its pride in this honor and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting youth initiatives and volunteer programs that reflect its educational and humanitarian mission in serving society.
