With the aim of enhancing the skills of graduates and students and preparing them for the labor market in the oil sector, Al-Farabi University is hosting the training program “Safety in Iraqi Institutions”.
The program is held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and within the framework of the National Youth Development Initiative. It is organized by the Elite Excellence Team for Qualification and Development, in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Youth and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) – Central Iraq Section.
The workshop seeks to develop the knowledge and capabilities of students, graduates, and faculty members, while raising awareness of key safety concepts in the oil sector, including occupational safety in institutions and oil sites, fire prevention and evacuation, and first aid.
The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, August 23–24, 2025.
