Specialized Scientific Visit from UOT Laser Students to Al-Farabi University: Bridging Theory and Practice in Non-Surgical Aesthetic Technology

As part of scientific and training collaboration, the Department of Laser Sciences and Technology at the University of Technology organized a specialized scientific visit for first-year students to Al-Farabi University. The visit focused on the Department of Non-Surgical Aesthetics and was accompanied by a group of faculty members and teaching assistants.

During the visit, students explored key practical aspects of laser-based devices and learned how to treat patients using precise protocols and diagnostic methods aimed at achieving optimal results while minimizing side effects. The visit also included an overview of potential career paths for graduates and ways to enhance their practical skills.

The field tour included a hands-on look at advanced technologies such as CO₂ lasers, Nd:YAG lasers, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), and radiofrequency devices available in the specialized clinics at Al-Farabi University.

At the end of the visit, the students extended their sincere thanks to Prof. Dr. Waleed Khalaf Hammoudi for his invaluable insights and knowledge in the field of non-surgical laser applications.
