The Women’s Affairs Committee at Al-Farabi University, chaired by Assist. Lecturer Hiba Mazher Al-Mashhadani and including members Assist. Professor Sahar Al-Bayati, Assist. Lecturer Shaala Alaa Al-Din Al-Bakri, and Assist. Professor Saja Amer Ahmed, participated in the national celebration organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Women’s Affairs Department, held today, Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Ibn Fadlan Hall in the Ministry’s educational complex.
The celebration included honoring academic and university women affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with a distinguished theatrical performance presented by the College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad.
This event was part of the implementation of the National Strategic Plan to support Iraqi and academic women across various strategic and cultural areas, through workshops, seminars, and awareness activities organized by Iraqi universities.
The activities emphasized the importance of promoting sustainable development and building academic institutions that uphold security and peace, with best wishes for continued success and progress for all.
