Under the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education, the Department of Oil and Gas Refining at the College of Engineering – Al-Farabi University organized an awareness lecture addressing the dangers of drug use. The lecture was presented by Dr. Kafa, who discussed the negative effects of drugs on both physical and mental health, as well as their social and economic impacts.
The event witnessed active participation from second-year students, who engaged in meaningful discussions and raised thoughtful questions. The lecture emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the dangers of drugs and the vital role youth can play in combating this issue by promoting health education and accurate information within society.
