On the occasion of the National Iraqi Women’s Day, observed annually on March 3rd, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani issued a letter of appreciation to the staff of the National Directorate for Iraqi Women at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, as well as to all female employees involved in women’s affairs across ministries, provinces, and non-ministerial entities.
In his letter, the Prime Minister expressed deep gratitude and pride in the distinguished and continuous efforts made by Iraqi women in supporting the causes of working women within government institutions. He affirmed that such efforts embody the spirit of dedication and active contribution in serving the nation and strengthening its institutional and social roles.
The letter, signed by Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr. Salah Hassan Abdullah, and dated March 26, 2025, reflects the Iraqi government’s ongoing commitment to empowering women in all fields of responsibility and highlighting their pioneering role in national development.
