The Women’s Affairs Unit at Al-Farabi University organized an awareness seminar titled “Illiteracy”, in cooperation with the Department of Refining Petroleum and Gas Engineering. The seminar was led by Dr. Kifah, who gave a comprehensive lecture on the importance of eradicating illiteracy and how to raise community awareness about the necessity of educating individuals across various age groups and social sectors.
This seminar is part of the ministerial directive for the third national plan for women, peace, and security, with a focus on the prevention and protection pillar. This initiative aims to improve the social and economic status of women, as well as provide support to empower them in accessing education and awareness.
The seminar was attended by a group of students and faculty members from Al-Farabi University, reflecting the great interest in this crucial topic, which contributes to achieving sustainable development by empowering individuals with literacy skills, which form the foundation for any community advancement.
