As part of ongoing efforts to raise community awareness about women’s rights and combat various forms of violence they face, the Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at Al-Farabi University, organized an awareness seminar titled “Violence Against Women.”
The seminar addressed the definition of violence against women and its various forms, including physical, psychological, social, and economic violence. It also explored the causes and negative impacts of this phenomenon on individuals and society. The event featured the participation of specialists and experts who provided scientific insights and practical solutions to curb this issue.
This initiative aims to promote a culture of respect and gender equality and to strengthen the positive role of the community in providing a safe and supportive environment for women, contributing to the development of a cohesive and prosperous society.
