Al-Farabi University, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, held a scientific seminar titled “Stages of Programmatic Accreditation and the Iraqi University Ranking.” The seminar aimed to shed light on the standards of programmatic accreditation and its importance in enhancing the quality of educational programs and improving academic institution standards.
The seminar included a series of lectures delivered by experts and specialists in higher education, discussing the steps and procedures required to obtain programmatic accreditation, and how to apply international and local standards in Iraqi universities. The focus was also on the Iraqi university ranking and key factors that contribute to improving the ranking of local universities at both regional and international levels.
The seminar concluded with an open discussion session, providing professors, students, and faculty members with an opportunity to interact, ask questions, and exchange views on ways to develop higher education and strengthen academic accreditation.
