The Head of the Student Activities Division at Al-Farabi University represented the university in the ministerial meeting for Directors of Student Activities Departments from Iraqi universities. The meeting was organized by the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority’s Student Activities Department, part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and was held at Al-Zahraa University in Karbala on the morning of Thursday, September 26, 2024. The meeting focused on discussing issues related to the ministerial program for student activities, including sports, arts, and scouting.
The discussions included finding solutions to the challenges encountered in previous activities and reaching an agreement on the new student activities to be included in the ministerial program for the academic year 2024-2025. The meeting also involved explaining the evaluation form process, discussing the structure of student activity departments at universities, and reviewing the work of the Iraqi University Sports Federation. This participation aligns with Al-Farabi University’s goal of fostering community engagement by collaborating with other institutions attending the meeting.
