Al-Farabi University won the Excellence Award for its participation in artistic paintings and free drawing with the participation of students from the Design Department in the University Fine Arts Festival, which is sponsored by the Student Activities Department in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The festival, which was hosted by Al-Farabi University and which was held in the halls of Al-Furat Al-Awsat University in the Al-Najaf Governorate, participated in the festival, with the participation of (46) governmental and private universities and colleges for 5 consecutive days.
It is noteworthy that the festival was supervised by a ministerial committee in addition to professors from the faculties of fine arts.
The artistic committee received the approval of the works submitted by Al-Farabi University students, especially in the free drawing and direct drawing competition, with a clear touch that contributed to us achieving the Excellence Award at the festival.
This activity comes within the annual curriculum scheduled for the Student Activities Unit, through which the University Deanship seeks to uncover and hone students’ talents.
