Al-Farabi University won the Excellence Award for its film (My Plane) by student Zaid Muhammad Naji from the Law Department at the University Film Festival, which is sponsored by the Student Activities Department in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
(76) governmental and private universities and colleges participated in the festival, which was held in the halls of Al-Mustaqbal University, for 5 consecutive days.
It is noteworthy that the festival was supervised by a committee of fine arts and media professors who judged the films.
This activity comes within the annual curriculum scheduled for the Student Activities Unit, through which the University Deanship seeks to uncover and hone students’ talents.
