Holding a symposium entitled “Combating violence against women”

The Women’s Empowerment Division at Al-Farabi University, under the supervision of the Women’s Empowerment Department in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, held an awareness seminar entitled (Combating Violence Against Women), delivered by the head of the Women’s Empowerment Unit at Al-Farabi University, Assistant Lecturer Samra Al-Azzawi, in the presence of Dr. Fatima Ares Sultan, Director of the Women’s Empowerment Department in the Ministry, and in the presence of Mrs. Donia Al-Shammari, Head of the Women’s Committee in the Iraqi Parliament and officials of the empowerment divisions and units in public and private universities and colleges in Baghdad.
