About the Journal

Journal of Al-Farabi for Engineering Sciences (JFES) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Al-Farabi University since 2019. The journal is officially licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Iraq under license number 8046/4 dated 26 April 2019.

JFES publishes one regular issue per year and adopts a continuous publication model, whereby each accepted manuscript is published online immediately after the completion of peer review, revision, and final acceptance, ensuring rapid dissemination of high-quality research.

The journal aims to publish original research articles, review papers, and applied studies covering theoretical, experimental, and practical aspects of engineering sciences and technology. JFES serves as an academic platform for addressing contemporary engineering challenges, innovative solutions, and emerging technologies that contribute to technological advancement, economic development, environmental sustainability, and societal well-being, while strictly adhering to international standards of research ethics and publication integrity.

JFES welcomes interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research that integrates traditional engineering fields with modern digital and intelligent technologies, and supports knowledge exchange at both national and international levels.
